- 5000 LT WATER TANK DONATION BY SANBI
What a wonderful surprise when Jane (Harold Porter Botanical Gardens) contacted me and inquired whether we had a need for a water tank! To top it all they not only donated, they also delivered the tank to the school. It came at the right time as we have not been able to water our Veggie Garden as the cost of water has become exorbitant. The more water you use the more you pay. We Are now able to harvest the rain water for our Veggie Garden & produce fresh organic vegetables for the kids. Your contribution is much appreciated. Thank You, Thank You !!!!
EASTER PROGRAM
The kids made a paper model of their hands & pasted a Cross in the palm of the hand. Once completed the little hands were hung on the Easter Tree. They loved the activity and were very proud of their Easter Tree.
To celebrate Easter, Sandra (our Chairperson) baked some wonderful treats for the children.
Volunteers Fransa and Claudia started the day with a Bible Story. They kids listened as the ‘Tannies” (Aunties) explained that Easter is really about Jesus who died for us all. After breakfast we had a Face Painting Session- See our little Bunnies below- So Cute !!!!!!!
After eating the wonderful treats, the kids went on an “Easter Egg Hunt” in the play area.

LONG WEEKEND SURPRISE
Sandra Taljaard sent me a message informing me that somebody sponsored my Hubby & I to spend the Long Weekend at a farm cottage. I was speechless; it was too good to be true! Well it was true and we were able to get away for the first time in 10 years. It was awesome! Thank you so much to the person who gave us this wonderful opportunity to take a break. We loved it!
